I'm dropping my new motor in the car in the next couple months, restoring the interior, and then repainting. I'm torn between 4 options.

Any opinions are welcome.

 

Go red with black stripes. Or not. Up to you.

 

The blue with silver stripes would be nice but I am partial to black. Hugger orange is very nice but I like white stripes on it. Take a look at as many photos as you can and decide from there.

 

You cant really appreciate admiral blue until you see it in person. A good friend of mine had his 89 mustang painted admiral blue with 17" ROH ZSs and it was amzing to look at. The car stole attention from everything. Even when we went out with my brothers 383 LT1 Vette, my GTA, a buddies Ferrari 308, most people came up to his car believe it or not

 

I'd never seen admiral blue anyone got any pics of it?

it also came on regular late 4th generation Corvettes (95,96)

 

if i were repainting my car, id go with Maroon w/ Gold stripes and gold badging... but i voted for blue w/ silver bc that would look tight on crome wheels =)

 

If I had a choice to repaint my car it would be a Candy red or a daytona silver or a mix of both , Candy red is SO AWESOME in the sun . My bike is painted house of Klor Kandy red. Look at the House of Klor paints they make a Kandy Orange that is off the hook . I paint cars & bike on the side & house of Klor is an awesome product.

my 95z28 was red, I'm done with red.

my '94 zr1 wrecked project car is admiral blue, a color I love dearly but I'm not sure it would look right on an fbody... I'm leaning toward orange.

For those who don't know admiral blue... it's a metallic blue and becomes almost purple in the right light.
