Overlay Gauge Question

If I have a 110 stock cluster will the 150mph overlay work and be somewhat accurate?

Re: Overlay Gauge Question

no, if you want a 150mph speedo you need to change the whole thing.

****. Glad I asked or I wouldve been very upset later. So I should just order a whole new cluster then get the white faces? How much do new clusters go for?

Re: Overlay Gauge Question

why not just get the 110 overlay instead of the 150?

Because 110 is ghey. In all actuallity all I really wanted was a speedo with 150mph. I could care less about the overlay.

Re: Overlay Gauge Question

Is obtaining a 150mph speedo as simple as getting a 93-96 speedo with 150mph and simply pluging it to mine? Is there going to be any isue or is this a simple swap plug, and play?

Re: Overlay Gauge Question

From what I understand, all you'd need is the entire guage cluster. But again, why the 150 when you're limited to 110 anyway? Is it really worth the hassle of having 40 extra mph on the speedo when it won't even be used?

Re: Overlay Gauge Question

guess I just don't see the point if you're a v6 with a 110 speedo upgrading to a 150 when your v6 won't even go that fast

I dont understand what youre saying. with stock gears, and removed speed limiter with my combo and enough road I'm sure I could do close to 300kmh
