Opinions on my ride

Since you guys are the toughest critics I've seen (I've seen some pretty harsh comments on other cars) and I know you all will be brutally honest, lemme know what you think of my ride. It was the class winner at Super Chevy in Joliet in 98 and 99 in the 1993 and up Modified Camaro Class. It's the red 1994 Z28 will all the emblems shaved off. Scroll down the whole page to see all the pics. The black Z at the bottom is my brother's car. We have some stuff planned for that too

Lower it looks way to high.If you have lowered it get some coil overs or some 18-19 inch wheels, Fill that wheel gap.

That's coming next, along with some 19's. I scrape alot already as it is, what kind of springs would you recommend?

Paul has some sweet coil overs on his car. I don't remember what kind they are though, i'm sure he will post where he got them for you though.

Your car looks real good Ken, but i agree with the other comments on your rims. It's time to go bigger. Don't get the clear corners, it'll give it the "rice effect" IMO. As your dear and loving brother, take my brotherly advice. But don't get the Fikse FM/5s...coz they're mine

Heres what I would recommed:

- get some 19" Moda R6 or some 19" SSR's
- HID conversion
- custom headlight swap
- molded spoiler / 98+ SS / one piece
- mold on the front lip / create a custom one
- do the 1LE foglight delete
- removable lightweight hood for shows
- red racing seats

Looks clean though.

Good luck on your future shows.

I like those hood vents....

The headlight covers and the rear glass.....you know from the first pic it almost looks like the same glass. Very nice if you had that in mind....

My suggestions....lowered but not 19's.

Go with the clear corners....your sides have a nice clean look I think those corners would add to it.

my 2 cents anyway....overally the car deserved to win.

Cool Car, personally I don't dig the clear corners so I think blackouts on the turn signals look awesome. I have blackouts on all my lights and I think it looks great with the red and tinted windows. The vents on the hood are sweet too.
what year is the 2nd gen in the driveway pic? I used to have a '78 Z about the same color.

Bottom line is your car is great looking.

That car looks horrible, what was the owner thinking? lol j/k

Looks good man, I dont think clear corners would look bad on it.

I think the wheels look good but some chrome Z06 woud look killer with a slight drop, nothing extreme, just a set of Eibachs, the pro-kit, dont drop it to much. If you really want to set it off, try some regular color stock style Z06 wheels. I think that would look cool, I think chrome Z06s will be the next ZR1s, be original and use the oem style Z06 wheels.

Only thing I really dont like are the head light covers and louvers on the hood, the cowl hood looks good, the car over all looks real nice and clean, but louvers on the hood contrast sharply the shaved looking you were going for.

It's an awesome car, best of luck
