Older emblems

Well i justfound out this morning someone stole the emblem off my car.
Now RIght now i am looking on ebay for a new one. and I found this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA:IT&ih=017 , and i wonder will it fit on the 4th gens. or should I just do a emblem delet and put one of these ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA:IT&ih=018 ) off set on the driver side of the hood right above the head light or below it? or should I just get one of these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA:IT&ih=011

Ok, if you want easy - do the third one. It's made to fit and IMO it dont look half bad.

However, I happen to have the first one you posted on my car and I'll tell you - it's a little more involved then just putting it on. The 2nd gen noses had a bit more of a bend to the shape of the nose so it dosen't sit flat. plus it's a tad bigger than a 4th gen badge so it deffinatly doesnt fit in the indentaion on our noses. It's a minor nussance but i've delt with it. The other thing to keep in mind is that the oldschool emblems have studs and nuts to attach - not like 4th gens double sided adhessive trend. SO you would either have to snap off the studs and supply your own adhessive or prepair to drill threw your nose. But to be honest it would look best - those little attention to details really set a car apart.

But to be honest I wouldn't even consider the "camaro" script. Be too much work to fill the indent in the nose, paint, and then figure a way to bend that emblem to the shape of the nose without snapping it in half. Would look as good either.

I dont see why you coudln't. You'd just have to brake off the studs first.
