Ok help me with my hood selection

Ok here is the deal. I had the ultra z hood, but wanted to go a different route after having it for several years.

I thought about doing a LS1 front end conversion to my car (since I need a front clip also), but then thought about a few things. I have owned the car since 1998 and felt I like I would be betraying the original looks. I also did not want people to think that this is just another LS1 car. I want them to be impressed with my LT1 motor. I also felt like I would just plain regret it.

So I am torn between the 2 previous hoods mentioned in the pole above.

I like the top one, the one on the bottom Ive seen them around in San Jose. They don't look good at all in person.

I say go with an SS hood, they look better than the 3 inch SS hood.

i think the one in the bottom pic needs to be wider. then it would look nice. don't care for the top one. just run without a hood hillbilly style!!

I like the one on the bottom, it looks aerodyamic but adds a little shape to the car but keeps the square lines of the front which looks good, but I would only out it on a really dark car like that one, it would not look good on white,

If you have a light colored car I would go with the one on top or a stock hood
