Talking OEM SS HOOD Test Fit (pics inside)

I took these on moday with a regular camera so the quality sucks. Im getting the car back on thursday from the painter and i should have new and better and painted pics up on friday. The reflection on the hood is the tape from shipping.

Looks nice dude. How much did you pay for that? I wanted to get an OEM SS hood from SLP but they said I couldn't because I did not have an SS vin number. I have heard rumors that it has now changed, but that was not the case when I was looking for a hood.

LimitedEd1LE, I ended up paying 650 for the hood off of ebay. I also tried to get the hood from SLP but they said i needed a vin number so as far as i know its still the same. It'll be a couple more years til they offer the ss hood to everyone. You can find the hood on ebay every once in awhile i found it under "oem ss"

Waroo, Thanks.......i should have the pics up tomorrow or friday. Im too anxious though, i might stop by the shop and check it out today after they paint it.
