Cool Novelty Mirrors

A long time ago at a Corvette car show, there was a Vette with these novelty side mirrors that look just like the stock ones, but they said:

OBJECTS IN MIRROR DISAPPEAR QUICKLY

The normal print on everyone's mirror is Objects in Mirror are closer than they appear.

Does anyone here know who makes this novelty mirror?

I just looked at htose pics before I saw this post. I think they are nice because they look as if they are stock until you read them. I'd be in for a set of them if anyone figures out where to get them. Maybe Brent could make us some?

It is just a decal. I have seen them for sale on ebay. I think you can have them say whatever you want. Give it a search or click here.

I seem to remember a similar decal for sale (I think that one said Warning: Objects In Mirror Are Losing) on mustangworld.com, in the MW Speedshop.

Actually, somebody asked me about this a week ago and is ordering one I'm making it out of a vinyl called "Etchmark". It looks like etched glass but it's not... it's a vinyl sticker

I haven't made one yet but will try in the next few days and take a picture for you guys!

Whoa... VERY interested Brent

If you can do "etchmark" vinyl I may have quite a few custom orders to talk to you about.

I bought the stuff to make a large decal for a home mirror. I'm going to try to play around with this a bit and see how it looks. I'll try to stick a CAMARO or something on a piece of glass and take a picture of it and post it so you can see how it looks. On its backing, it does look like glass etching
