I personally wouldn't have a lot of faith in Macco. Did they sand, prime, paint? paint over paint? Just paint the stripes?

Paint job looks great.

Nothing wrong with a Maaco paint job. Sometimes they can do good work, just depends on what you are willing to pay for. If you want a $500 paint job, they will give it to you as long as you know what you are going to get I don't see a problem with it. I had them paint my 78 T/A after I did all the prep work. Didn't turn out too bad either.

Maacos are independent stores, so they are not all the same... But general consensus is poor quailty....... Hope it doesnt start to peel off within a year...... Good luck....

Love the stripes. But never noticed on other ones how they go right through the middle of the scoops on the hood... kinda just popped out at me first thing. Hope it lasts a good long time for you.

Dang... Maaco is supposed to suck. They normally overspray your rims and exhaust for free, guess you didn't get that package.

I too, am surprised it looks that good! Great deal if it lasts! Just have to touch up that area on the rear valance in the 'camaro' lettering and you'll be all set!

It looks really good, not bad on the cost either. I have seen some good looking cars come out of a Maaco paintshop.

Not bad looking!

I have only seen one Maaco job, and it wasn't that bad, especially for the money. I had a friend that got the Maaco $500 paint job on his VW Corrodo (sp?) and it wasn't that bad. There were some spots. The paint flaws were not noticable at more than a few inches away from the car. I will admit I have seen paint jobs that came out a hell of a lot worse and cost a hell of a lot more than his...
