Newer SS Spoiler

I'd like to put the 98+ SS style spoiler on my 94 z28 vert. I've seen the ones from RKSport and others for around $300 without paint. Are these "98+ style" spoilers any different from the OEM SS spoilers in order to fit 93-97 models? i.e. If I find an SS spoiler on a 98+ in a junkyard, can I just buy that one and repaint it?

If you get a newer style factory SS spoiler it will directly fit but you'll need to do some "extras" to the wiring. The newer spoiler uses LEDs. The LT1 Camaros don't like this too much and you'll have an ABS light (I think that's it) when using the factory spoiler on the LT1 Camaros. The fix is easy though and you just need to wire in a resistor in series. I don't have the exact details but I do believe some guys in the Appearance Section will know just how to do this... I'll move this there for ya
