Newbie here

I have a 97 trans am ws6. I am looking to put a 98 or new style hood on it. I know they custom make them for 97s. where can i get one. I am also looking for a good place that has led's, undercar lighting , clear headlight conversions and sequential turn signals. Can anyone point me in the right direction. thanks.

I have a '97 Trans Am too, I bought a Suncoast Creations Predator hood. Its kinda expensive, I have about $1,200 intoo my hood with paint, but thats without the air box, but the hood looks mean as hell. Heres their web site www.suncoastcreations.com I also bought a Ram Air II hood for an '82 bird I use to have, It looks a little better than the Predator hood, but you have to do some cuttin on it. They also make them for our cars. Their web site is www.hotrodhoods.com Hope this helps. Let me see if I can get you a pic of my hood.

yes...welcome to the board. I'm relatively new too...but in the 2 short months I've been here...I've had a WEALTH of knowledge at my fingertips for virtually everything I could want to know about my car. Anything you want to know is here...just search for it..and it's probably already out there...if not...you'll get answers fast.

What size of LED's are you looking for? Depends on the size as of where to get them...

I have never heard of an LS1 front end that is custom made to fit on an LT1 car. Many people have done this conversion using take-off parts from wrecks. Visit Speed Automotive and give Scott a call. He can get a front clip to your door with all brackets for a fair price.

I read a thread on here the other day about a guy who had done the conversion to his LT1 camaro and bought the clip from Speed Automotive for around 1200, Don't quote me on that though, my memory is kinda fuzzy on all the details.

A trans am clip might cost more because of the pop-up headlights and related motors etc.....
