Cool New wheels & tires - before and after pics

I bought a set of rims and tires (already mounted and balanced, thank god!) from a friend of mine for my Formula. The details:

4 Pirelli P8000 Vizzola tires mounted on 4 Eagle Alloy model 077 16x8 wheels for a grand total of $500!! I had to go out and buy a set of Mcgard lugs for the wheels ($85)because the seller could not find them at the time of sale.

Here are some before and after shots. (The car is filthy, I know )

Not bad for $585, huh?

300 bucks more could have gotten you the same style wheel, chrome, and 18"s with tires but yeah definetly not bad for the price

They look kinda small IMO, it seems like there is too much sidewall showing. But still, not bad for $585.

It's a definete improvement.

Of coarse..........if the car had been clean for the first pics - they would have looked good too.

i think they look better, but i would have went bigger too. those wheels look very nice in 18's and arnt real expensive. to me 16 in wheels dont have that custome look to them because u cant see through them as good and theres so much tire.

Although I agree that bigger would be better, it would do WONDERS if you bought a set of eibachs for that thing.

Plus you don't have to put with the hassle's of getting bigger wheels and tires. Like pulling left to right when stopping. Looks clean.

Yes, 1" does make a big difference. Put the same wheels 1"bigger on the car and it will look much better. Dropping will help, but dropping it with 17s would help more.

Bigger wheels dont make the car pull left and right(tracking), wider wheels do. Even with wider wheels a lot of tracking can be lost if you have the correct camber.
