i got my hood yesterday... went to go put it on this morning, noticed the bolt holes where the hinges attach to the hood... were not the same as my stock hood. my stock hood connected to the hinges horizontally, on this hood, it looks like the hinges should rest flush against the bottom side of the hood and bolt in... how should I go about attaching the hinges? btw it's a VFN sunoco style hood..

 

okay, well i figured out the problem, i'm an idiot. but now i'm having a lot of problems aligning the hood. anyone have any tips or a picture walkthrough or something? thanks...

 

You need to oval out your bolt holes, it's more of a trial and error thing to get it to fit properly. It took me and a buddy 4 hours of messing with mine to get it right.
