New SS spoiler - not quite flush

Just bought a new Wings West SS spoiler (98-01 spoiler with the dual struts). It's on a '97Z. The wing is supposed to fit 93-01 camaros, and it basically does. But where the front of the spoiler meets the rest of the hatchback it's not quite flush. I know people have these wings - does it take a little time to "flex" into place?

Thanks!

nope, the wings West SS spoiler fits like crap. I went through 3 of them.

my First one fit bad even after I spent allot of time on it. they replaced it claiming they knew of problem and had fixed it. only thing that had changed was they cut the hole on the driver's side for the wires to go through. I had to cut the hole myself on the first one and the 2nd spoiler ended up cracking. 3rd spoiler they send me I sold to get my money back.

you can shave the mounting pads to get it really close to fitting flush, but there isn't enough material there to shave it enough to get it totally flush.

keep an eye on ebay, i got my true SS spoiler on there for $240.00 shipped.
had to do a little fiberglass work to one corner, but it was definetly worth it !

I've got one. It fits like ****. Admittedly I'm really picky though. I can tolerate though. You can guarantee when I get the SS hood it will fit better because I will be more picky about that.
