Wow that exterior is in bad shape......needs some TLC! I'm not sure how I like the spoiler it looks a bit high to me but I would like to see pictures of everything painted before i said it looked bad. I definately like it more then say the commando wing. Post some pics when the cars exterior gets all finished, i'm sure some people may change there tune, good luck with the new Z

Thumbs up

Everyone keeps saying that the body is in bad shape. I'm guessing you just sanded it down and are adding the parts now until you paint it, correct? Do you do the paint work yourself? What color are you going to go with?

I like that spoiler and I remember looking at one similar to it a couple years ago. It looks a heck of a lot better than those super wings that RK Sport sells!

Good luck with the paint job. I'm sure the car will look really nice since you're putting all of this time and effort into it!

Cool

Your lt-4 heads will not work with the lt-1 intake. They have to be machined to fit properly. Your better off selling those and spending about $1200 on some good lt-1 ported heads. There isn't mush difference in them whatsoever performance wise.

I'm still wary about buying it since it'e polyurethane...

Is it a one piece spoiler ?

SHANNON... HI. yes its a one piece spoiler. it curves around the sides of the car. whats your reservations with a poly spoiler? oh and thanks on the info about the heads..i know 100% that my intake is an LT1 so i got the pn off my heads and they ARE LT1s not LT4s. i also know they ARE ported and polished. i'm just glad i didn't order the new intake.

If you'll look at the site again it says he's going to paint it hugger orange in the next few months.

The reason someone might have reservations about having a poly spoiler is because polyurethane is flexible, this would kind of defeat the purpose of the spoiler if it flexed and folded some when the wind blew on it. Instead of creating downforce it would just fold over.

And I'm uessing the same, that the body is either sanded or in primer, makes sense considering he's getting ready to paint it

Cool

Glad you found out about the heads before it was too late

My only worries about the poly spoiler is it flexing on a car thats gonna trap well over 100. I really wanted the LG one, but geeeeeezzzz they are expensive !

SHANNON.. ok that makes sense. but this spoiler is rigid. its NOTHING like the poly bumpers on my corvette. they would warp after about a year in the sun. this spoiler is totally different.you really can't tell that its not fiberglass. and it looks tough as hell looking out the rearview mirrior.

I give the car a thumbs up for several reason. Yeah the car doesn't look the best now but I can picutre what it will be like after the paint/wheels/hood ect. I think it will look really good and I'll be anxious to hear what some say when they see the finished product. Plus it has fair amount of "go" for when he has the "show." Keep up the good work and post the finshed pics.
