Re: New seat covers from EBAY just installed...what you think?

Well I just got the quote, it's going to be about $150 shipped for the rear seats. I think I am going to do it. I just want them to match.

Thanks again everyone for the comments, it make me and the Z both appreciate it.

And the dash mat I really don't like, but in Texas it's just waaaaay to hot. And it is already cracked!! I will probably get a new dash pad and remove the mat when it's cooler and back on when it's hotter, which would be about only 2months out of the year here.

Oh and the door handles might look white but they are chrome. The interior I like to look a little busy and accented. After the rear seat covers though that will do it for me and the interior, as I reached my maximum with modding for the inside for the car, except maybe different seats waaay later on and a Classic 3 spoke steering wheel maybe? You know the ones that have like three holes in each one of the 3 spokes...one of those. We'll see.

Thanks again

I think I'm going to go this way when I redo my seats:

Looks like the stock stitch pattern, which I like.

But damn, 69 bucks....damn tempting

Do you have manual seats? I have power seats, so does it still work, with the buttons on the side?

Thanks

Hey guys, The backs are actually not the same as the front. They are solid black nylon-ish. It's seems strong and High quality. I never have anyone in the back so to me it's no big deal. Plus that view is not seen nearly as often as the front. But that's just me.

And I have power driver's seat and it was not much more of a problem. You just have to tuck in a little more. but it looks smooth all around without any bulges.

Hope that helps

I can take pics of the back tomorrow, email me if you are interested in seeing some and I'll get them to you.

x2; post some pics of the back, definitely would like to see. I purchased these front seat covers about two months ago and love them! Definitely agreeing with Megalis, power seats are no problem. The only things I did to install this was tuck it in behind the seat's controls, and I removed the seat belt loop and then screwed it over the covers. The seat covers have loops that you put together under the seat with clips, but I didn't do that.. the only thing holding my seat covers is the seat belt loop, 2 months and still looking great!

I called the company where Megalis bought his seats, it took them 1 week to call back and it sounded like a house number and some guy running it out of his garage.

Anyone know why it says 97-02? Arent the seats the same 93-02?

So they wont fit onto 93-96 seats at all or will the pattern just be diffrent? Becuase those are 350 and the ones that say 93-96 are 400

i like the covers with the stock stitching much much better...the other ones look strange to me because of the way they are stitched...badass looking car though! i love that color (possibly what ill repaint my car in a couple years when it becomes the weekend warrior) except the door handles (which belong on an escalade) and the dash mat it looks awesome (yea yea i know u only posted about the seats )
