Click on the link in my sig, the whole front end was repainted by me, the antenna I had a shop do. Calipers, well you all probably know how so I wont get into that.

How did you prep it up before you painted? Is that a OEM hood or an aftermarket SS version? Nice work though.

 

I took autobody class's for a year at a technical school. It was pretty easy to prep, but time consuming. Its not OEM so it isnt a perfect fit but overall it is very nice.

Painting Steps.

1. Sand down the gelcoat with 220 grit paper.
2. Sprayed Variprime self etching primer (dupont)
3. Wetsanded with 600 grit paper, using Guidecoat to find my highs and lows to make them level
4. Sprayed color, sprayed clear
5. Wetsanded with 2500, buffed and polished.

Voila, thats how it was done in a nutshell.

The whole front end was done by me, and the antenna I had done at the shop.

did u relocate ur antena? how do u listen to the radio?

 

Car looks pretty good but those appear to be the 16" SS replicas! why would you get the 16's?

 

I didnt end up relocating the antenna because I never listen to it.

16s because thats all I can afford lol. I figured Id atleast get some chrome on there though.

The lights are hella ff75, I bought them on ebay 40 dollars a pair, very easy to hook up, a member on this site actually made a nice write up too.
