Yeah your right why what would be the point to try to make a fake RS when all it is is a extra gfx kit its not like they are faster than a regular 6. As far as I know the car is a RS. I would not fake badge a car but even if I did it could easily pass for a SS so why wouldnt I have gone that route? When I bought it it had the stock RS kit and emblems, when I had the car painted I replaced the emblems and got a new kit. So if there were no 98+ camaros that were RS's thats news to me and I dont see why someone would have put all of the RS emblems on there for. Not to mention I have seen other RS 98+ Camaros around to, infact there is one in down the street from me unless they are fake to. Ill take some pics next time I see it.

No, SLP made RS's in 01'-02'. They didn't have the GFX, just had a dual exhaust and the SLP bowtie grill. Some of them had stripes.
