New pics of my Z

After a looong time, I finally have some updated pics to put on here. So I thought Id see what you guys think. I know I need to lower it, but Im not sure if I will with these hilly roads we got around here. Id be sure to lose a bumper or a fasica.

worked fine for me!

BTW it looks good. not sure if I like the "plum" paint with the rims you have on, but I think a set of black wheels off the new vettes would look killer

#1- Holy crap! That looks amazing! I've never seen a Camaro that actually looked good with a billet grill but this one does!
#2- Don't change a thing! No need to lower it!

Do you take your car to the occasional f-body shows in the DFW area? I don't think I remember seeing it at the Grapevine Hooters one back in April or whatever.

Cool thanks man, actually Im new to the DFW area. I moved down here from chicago about 2 months ago. Havent met any Fbody guys here yet, the ones Ive talked to in the forums to find meets seem to "clicky" or ignored me altogether so I dunno. So far, the guys in chicago where a lot nicer. lol

Go to houston (check ls1tech.com in the Texas section for meets). That car looks good, i like the rims with that color, you should be fine if you do lower it, only thing you scrape eveynow and then will be your front air dam. Least that all i scrape and there is some hellacious bumps here in college station. If you get ground effects thats when you gotta worry, but theres ways to drive it.

I (NORMALLY) hate any variation of maroon...but hot dam that looks nice! I also love your subtle taste in styling!

I'm not particularly new to the DFW area, but I haven't really met any of the F-body people either. I went to the Hooters show back in April but never really talked to anyone except Cytruffle (she seems to be like the head of everything f-body related in DFW). I don't do any of the events, but I like going to them when they are nearby (rarely are). (I mostly don't do the events because the '95 Z28 is my sister's car, the '02 SS is my mom's car, and the '02 Corolla is my car until I can afford a Camaro of my own ) We all live together though... and we all drive each others cars (except really my mom's since my sister and I have very little experience driving with a manual transmission --Dallas is not a good place to learn either) so I consider them our cars.

How old are you? I'm 20; I'd be willing to meet you for lunch or something in Dallas if you like sometime. Hell, if your older than 40, maybe my mom could meet you too

I agree 100%, your car looks awesome. You don't have to worry about lowering it. Lewisville isn't bad at all, I used to live in Flower Mound for around 20 yrs with a lowered 79 T/A with long tubes and also my lowered 97 Camaro. Whatever you decide to do I'm sure it will look great!

Re: New pics of my Z

Thanks for all the compliments, I actually expected to get a lot of "lower it" comments. So I gotta say Im surprised I didnt. When I learn where all the dips and cracks in the Lewisville/Dallas roads are Ill be more confident in lowering it.

Brangeta- Thanks for the offer man, that would be cool to meet another fbody dude. Im 27 btw.

resurrectedz28- Ill check that out, but if they are anything like the LS2.com texas people then, well...
