ah i gotcha. I never even had a plate on the front for the longest time. I ended up getting a couple tickets for it, which i beat in court but it wasnt worth the hastle and i just think the plate bracket kills the flow of the LT1 cars.

P.S i have better quality photos if someone has somewhere to host them. Technologyorgasm only allows 150kb now

Very nice ride man ! I actually was looking into those wheels also for the same reason you did, no one really has them. I guess I cant complain though cause I am the only 4th gen with mine, or that I have seen in person atleast. Very good choice and post up some more pics when you get the spoiler.

I have run into the same problem with my front license plate, bieing pulled over by a HW Patrolman. How does that plate work? I have a friend who cut his to fit on the airdam, but it doesnt look that great. I am open to idea's. Not only cant I stand the looks of the plate but I dont mind bending the rules a bit. Speaking of rules anyone know the Ohio ones on front plates?

I bought some hinge from home depot, cut it to the same length as a licence plate. Drilled a couple holes in it, mounted my licence plate to these holes. My licence plate is bend 90* at the bottom of the letters ( 4"x4" peice of wood and a mallet ) and then i drilled 2 holes in the bottom of the bumper and mounted the hinge up. The plate folds up under my bumper at speed, and swings if i want to go into a lower parking lot or something, where as my old setup would just scrape of come off. I am going to come up with something better over the winter, but that works for now.

Re: New pics of my car.

I wish I would have the time to perhaps make a retractable unit under the bumper, so as not to hinder looks, but to function when pulled over. Geez that would be pretty damn funny. "Sir you need a front license plate in this state" "Yes I know that and I have one" The cop would be all fugged up. Walking back and forth checking it. Then retract that thing up as you drive away. If you come up with a design let me know, I'd pay you for something like that.

BTW How do you like your Hella FF75's? Did you keep the stock Hella bulbs in them and if so how do they work? Any tips on install?

Re: New pics of my car.

The hella's are so much better than stock. I just kept the stock hella bulbs in them too, they work amazing. The install was pretty easy, 2 hours at the most. They are super easy to wire too, just cut the stock pigtail off and splice the positive and negative together. Just take your time mounting them so they look good. I get comments on them and my wheels all the time.
