Got A New Paint Job, Hood, Sills, and a few other things....

First off let me let you know that this camera that I am using is sucky. The car is very close to Electron Blue. It was cloudy out and my 1947 Digital camera does not help any. So the TRUE color is hard to see, but it's better in person. A few points:

I accidently left a rag under the hood all bulged up, which it why it seems slighty raised, I noticed after pics were taken.

Brent's overlays are noticed all around except the rear lettering they are those 3D Tectile ones off of ebay.

The hood is from fiberglassUSA. Off of Ebay for $491 shipped, it is great!! I should have gotten one when they were only $349 then they went up $50.

I ordered some "chrome" coated bulbs for the front clear corners. So as to eliminate that fried egg look

The dashmat will come off soon, I am looking for that piece that goes underneath the window to have it replaced.

Lastly, I know the car needs to be lowered I will get to that soon enough.

Please be honest with your opinions!! Thanks!

i like it exept for the door handles. should have done them the same as the rest of the body. other than that it looks pretty good. you should get some smoothlocks and have them painted to match the body too.

For some reason the front end looks small. Maybe it's just me. Long night. Definately get it lowered.

I like it! Only thing I don't like is the dash mat, I think they look cheap, but that's my opinion.

The color and the door sills and clear lights and stripes, etc, all work very well together and look awesome

Thanks all for the comments I appreciate it! As I said, I am looking to get the dashmat off but need that piece first, and the car will be lowered eventually. But I am very happy with the out come. Some more specific stuff:

Predatorbird---Yeah I know some don't like the handles but I wanted to be different. And I liked them alot So I left them that way. And as soon as I am done writing this I am ordering those smoothlocks, I was planning on it.

teke184--No it's not lowered at all....arrrgh. I know it need to be.

nothingeined---The front end is the same maybe it's just the angle or something.

The Highlander---The interior pieces are painted. The HVAC and LIght switch panels are overlays.

Here's a link to the clear corners:

Don't care for the door handles much. The car looks good, sorry about the ding in the quarter panel.

Sweet ride! I like the door handles, they keep the chrome theme going. Which, while I'm at it, I think all the chrome looks really good (overlays, etc.). Sometimes cars look kinda strange when all they've got are chrome wheels, so it's good to have more on there. Anyway, looks nice, I like it!
