Hello everyone, i have a 2001 chevy camaro 3.8l than i Want to start modding. I'm almost finished with my other car ...A mustang

Camaro is stock, no ground effects(kit), just fogs. I want rims, right now its on 16x8 eagle alloys, i'm looking for 17's. SOmething like this or even just chrome eagles.

Those wheels kind of look like C6 rims if i had to guess. I personally like the LS1 camaros when they rip the center grill out it gives them a mean look, but i don't know if it would fit a v6. I also like this headlight mod. http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=378678

Definately like them, but i don't know what brand or type they are. Anyone know how to get the bottom grill like that. I want to do the same thing, with the camaro letter on the black bottom insert.

If you're going to mod it appearance wise, there's two ways to do it...
1) "Clean" - Minimal appearance mods, meant to make the car look as basic as possible (IE Removing the emblems, no body kit, stock hood, stock spoiler). You can still add to the car, though, by either doing the whistler headlight mod, maybe changing the grill, changing something to another stock item (IE stock z28 hood to a SS hood, stock spoiler to an SS spoiler, stock rims to, say, y2k rims). "Clean" themes usually do well at classic car shows.
2) "Custom" - Aftermarket is your companion. Aftermarket hood, bodykit, different rims, spoiler, etc. The point is to look different, to stand out. Hence, "Custom" themes usually do good at car shows with generally newer cars.
Once you pick which theme you want, then it's either really easy or really complicated to figure out the end result. If you go with the clean theme, well it's obvious that it'll be easy to do because you're not really doing too much. If you go the custom route, well that opens up an entirely new field of what items you could pick from and all that.
Hope that gets ya started on the right path.

I'm looking to buy a used Camaro SS actually. THe v6 camaro is paid off, so I want to work on it now(slacked off on it) The mustang i pretty much done for me, just a drop and then i'll start performance mods after i hit 36,000 miles. I just have a K&N FIPK on it now. I plan on putting a procharger in it.
As for the Camaro, i will do the same. Appearence mods, then performance....which i know will do wonders for it....this camaro is way quicker than my stang. Good shift points for an automatic, and the engine hasn't given my trouble for the time i've had it. I Want RIms first, then i'll get it dropped, get a good body kit for it....something good quality and not rice. Then i'll go performance. I'll probaly get new pullies and intake for it though.

Since you are messing with a 98+ camaro i'd look at www.ls1tech.com. Their appearance forum has a lot more action.
