New hood on my 89 RS

Took me a week and a half but it looks great and fits great. It is from Liberty fiberglass and was 270$ with 130$ shipping. 4 inch bolt on, needs finish sanding but thats it. I will be pinning the front.

What you guys think?

Thanks man, i think it is killer for the price, it is not as different as the L88 i used to have but i think it is aggressive looking.

If you have a carburetor and the hood is functional, it's cool, but if not, I don't really get the point.

I hate them on 4th gens, but on third gens I'm indifferent as long as they are carbed...

It's classic! It's that simple, no matter what gen a cowl is on it's classic

That was before a 1 inch spacer too, and the 496 that will eventually be in it is also going to be needing the room!

Alright... if the hood is functional, you get my approval.

I can't tell if it's functional or not in your pics of it painted. It looks like you put mirrors there or left the inside white.

Oh, well, the underside has a gap of 5 inches or so to the next flat piece of glass, it keeps water and debrise out of the engine compartment. If i cut allot out you would be able to tell.
