The hood on the black camaro is a Z-Style hood from Sun Coast Creations.

I say go for it. It looks completely different from the norm and that's something very hard to do. Plus it's your car and anything done to it should be what you like. I would like to know how that is done though if you don't mind sharing the look.

love the hood, the hood conversion would look great on that car...front half looks great really good love the 4 fog lights...just dont put the aluminum sheilding over the engine bay again...that I didnt like and the rear well each his own..not liking it..but love the front

Re: New hod conversion!

First Im not going to put the billet grill on this car , as for the Aluminium shields those were for Show only they just covers all the engine bay crap they looked cool I thought.

The hood conversion to make it was just your average Heavy duty barn hinges trimmed down then bent to fit . Then you reverse them so when your hood opens then the reverse hing lets it drop down to level out . I have some close up pics somewhere around here I`ll have to dig them out. THen you have to make braces that hold the hood up because hood shocks dont work.

The only downfall is it takes 2 people to lift the hood up so you dont tweak it its kind of a pain in the AZZ but it looks cool.
