New Exterior Lighting Mods (pics)

Well I've been keeping busy on the bird with all the exterior lighting and here are the results so far. I'm pretty happy with the way it came out. Let me know what you think.

I have had the 6.5K Kaixen H4 Hi/Low HID kit for a a few weeks but these shots look a little better than the lasts ones I took.

New stuff includes:
-Clear Corner Lenses
-LED Lamps for clear corners & Reverse lamps
-Hella Optilux LED halo foglights

The DRL LEDs I have are called switchbacks which will switch from white output to yellow when the turn signal is activated. I installed an electronic flasher for the turn signals but cant find the freakin one for the hazards. I have a video of them in action and they work really well. Here is a video of them.

Are those legal in your state? They're awesome looking, really pulls together your front end lighting.

I got them from autolumination.com in the 3157 section. Pricey but it is just what I needed to pull the front end all together. I dont see a reason why they would not be legal because not all DRL's I see are amber. I could be wrong but they shouldn't cause any issue.

I've been thinking about replacing all the bulbs in my 97 z28 with some of those tower type multi LED lights for some time now. Just don't really know which ones will fit.... has anybody done this on a 97 Z28 yet? That Firebird looks pretty sweet man.

Do you remember which ones they were from that section? I'd like to get the same look you have.

+1

I'm looking to do switchbacks for the turn signal//running lamp on the front.. and led's for all bulb's except the headlights. HID for the headlights...

from what I've found the 20 led towers are the biggest you can get for the switchback 3157 bulbs as any bigger won't fit (haven't verified) and you most likely need to replace the flasher with an LED handling Electronic Flasher maybe EL12? (haven't confirmed)... in order to avoid frozen turn signals and error codes in the dash?

I will probably have it all figured out in a few weeks since I'm researching online and ordering 'hopefully' this weekend... would be nice if there was a sticky guide for this...
I want as bright signals/markers as I can get and a clean chrome/clear look..
I already have the clear markers/etc just need to do the bulbs...was thinking of cheating and doing the stealth bulb replacement aka chrome bulbs! not LED's... but I think LED's will solve the burnt sockets problem in the front end!
