new custom bumper

Not to long ago my front bumper was hit and the paint cracked but the bumper is fine, so instead of buying a new bumper i am taking my bumper of and hopefully grafting some sort of ground effects/body kit piece into/on it. I have all winter to get this project done so i am really taking my time and planning to make sure i get a great finished project. My question is, what car/cars have about the same shape/size front end as a camaro or what kind of bumper would look good on it? or any other tips for me, i am experienced with fiberglassing and bondo, someone else will be painting it for me so i dont have to worry about that

Fiberglass and bondo are not going to cut it. Fiberglass is for reinforcement or strength on a flat surface. I strongly suggest that you go with either a poly or epoxy industrial strength resin.

Whistler used a plastic welder, and his results look good..

I used epoxy with microballons, and my custom molded front clip withstood hitting a deer, so that says alot.

A poly resin would give you the most sheer strength.

if i reveal what it is before its all completed i will just get flamed, but to tell you the truth i dont care what other people think of my car. I didn't buy it for someone else to look at, i got it for myself. So yea, it is accually part of a bumper from a turbo 99 eclipse
