And to be fair, My next idea is to black out the tails and all marker lights... BUT, should I actually black them out, or have them candied charcoal gray to match the stripe that will be around the bottom 2" of the car later on?

 

Wow, very nice lookin Formula! Everything just jumps out at you ha. I kinda like the contrast of red lights on a darker color car but that's just my $.02, do what will make you happy.

BTW what's your new camera?

 

Yeah, I like the color break for sure. That's why I'm thinking of having the lights candied charcoal gray instead of black.

the camera is just something that was on clearance at wal-mart that I was eyeing for awhile. Beats no camera at all, and does a great job for what I payed :P. kodak ZD8612 IS. 12x optical zoom 5x digital, 8.1MP. It has a pretty good manual mode, and takes good shots up to about 400 ISO which is what most of the above pics were taken at.

 

Not a bad deal, the second pic down is my favorite just based on how the paint looks incredible under garage lights.

 

WOW, what has happened to you guys? ~120 views and only one guy gave an opinion? O_O... Nobody has an opinion on charcoal vs black vs stock tails and markers? Anybody great with photoshop wanna try the charcoal tails then? LOL. I can handle the black.. but can't pull off the charcoal gray metallic =/

 

Try and get a full tail shot without overexposing the pic, that would make it a heck of a lot easier for post processing.

if you are thinking of going through with blacking out your tails would you be interested in my lt1 style tails that have already been nightshaded? they came out looking awesome but would like to upgrade to the honeycombs just for preference and a change of appearance. let me know if your interested!
