If you already have it out on a stand, it would be pretty darn easy to upgrade the heads and cam now.

Just make sure not to wreck it the first time you drive it with the LT1 in! You'll get yourself in trouble if you aren't careful. I've never driven a 3.4L V6 Camaro but.... I'm used to driving my little 125 hp Corolla which is also weak and slow.

I rarely drive the Z28, and when I drove the Z28 after a 3 month hiatus, I forgot that I couldn't just stand on the gas like I can in the Corolla... Boyyyyyyy that was some scary fishtailing around a corner!

I've driven a few different mid 90's z28's, one six speed and one auto. Yep, they can definetly get a little loose in the corners. Needless to say, it'll take some time to adjust. lol.
