Thumbs up New Brent Vinyl - Auto Shifter Plate Enhancement.

Well - I got tired of the "Apply Brake to Shift from Park" text on the console - so I gave our good 'ole resident Brent Franker a call - and here's what he fixed up for me.

This first one is Brent's pic - it turned out better than all of mine - it actually appears in the correct color.
Pic 1.

Here are a few more that didn't turn out too well - I think it was just too bright, but oh well - you get the "picture" (sorry for the pun).

Pic 2.
Pic 3.
Pic 4.
Pic 5.

That's it - just a nice little enhancement for the shifter plate I think.

Brent said he would be selling these - so I suppose you could contact him for more info - or just wait for him to pop in here and post some more.

No, but it looks like Brent may have a filler plate in there with a gauge or two in it.

You know - that has crossed my mind - what else did you have to do? - just sand down the rest of the piece to make everything smooth, or did you just leave that one part slick and the rest "grainy?"

I don't really know why I thought of it - but I knew Brent could take care of us. He said he could put other text on there too - so I suppose if you wanted your SN or Z28 or anything like that he could also help you out.

Thanks, guys, glad you like it. 94BlackBowtie had a good idea here I think!

I'll stick them up on the website maybe late tonight when I get off work. Thanks again!

Oh, KeVMaN, there are a couple gauges in there. I'm too cheap to spend $50 on a plastic one so I just carpeted a piece of 1/2 plywood and slapped a couple gauges in it. Looks good and works... cost me nothing because I already had the carpet and plywood laying around

Good idea man! That place isn't really useful for holding anything. anything in there will be in the trunk when you hit the gas anyway
