New appearance item on my car

I don't think it's an improvement.

Re: New appearance item on my car

My sister was parked along the street (in an area where it is legal to do so) and this girl backed her jeep out of a restaurant across the street. She went in reverse across two lanes of traffic and smashed right into the Camaro. My sister was in the car fortunately/unfortunately, so she was able to get the girl out of her car and got the cops over there.

Any one have any advice for convincing insurance not to total the car? We have state farm and full coverage.

They won't total it. Even a correct repair and a whole panel paint match wouldn't touch the value of an 02 camaro.

Even if they try you can always fight it especially if its not your fault.

Sorry to hear that, hopefully it all works out for you. Probably the main reason I rarely drive my car is because of fear that some idiot will either run into it or purposely vandalize it.

I think that's the 95', not the SS. In which case a whole panel paint match an repair will come close.

Re: New appearance item on my car

Wow this really reminds me of my car! They shouldn't total it.. this happened to my Eclipse last Thursday.

I was driving straight in the middle of three lanes and there was a median to my left. An old lady started pulling out of a parking lot so I went over into the farthest left lane. She went across TWO empty lanes and rammed into my car. It's already been settled and I only had liability. I got $3,600 for it monday. Already bought 17" gunmetal wheels with a polished lip for it

I don't see it being totaled even if it is a 95. BB on a 95 is still over 4grand.

Not even close to being totalled. When you get the price of it all, you will probably be pleasantly surprised.
