fwiw, I think it's pretty cool, if that's what you are into. Not my style though. To each his own.

 

That looks alright for a show car, but on a daily driver, would you really want that neon light in your face all the time? I know I wouldn't.

 

so indiglo gauges isn't in your face but a steering wheel is? last time I checked, its only about 6-8 inches apart...? I like it but not with the japanese symbel. I'd like to see a cool steering wheel that is neon with switches built in. That way you won't have to take your eyes off the finish line to push a button.

 

Has anyone seen the ferrari enzo?
The steering wheel has led's that go with rpm would that be possible well even conceivable for a do it yourself project?

But yeah you're right, those are definitely in your face too.
Neither are my cup of tea, but does look kinda cool for a show car.

I dunno. Not sure if that would look cool in an F-body. Ferrari can get away with it in the Enzo because the Enzo is basically a street-legal racecar, and the RPM LED meter is a feature in all F1 cars. In an F-body, the meter might seem just a little too Knight Rider-ish, IMHO.

 

It's a Plexi-glass steering wheel. that has a neon in the center of the column. The neon desperses the glow threw the plexi-glass.

 

i think neons are nice no matter what anyone says. there rice when the bulbs show, leds , license plate fram most of the time. and underbody's are getting so common there getting lame. but when u do differnt stuff for shows that no one else thinks of like a custome stearing wheel i think its cool. the japanese symbol is gay though unless hes asia. if he is he probable doesnt know what it means though. if i was in asia i wouldnt right a big letter in american on my stearing wheel.

 

Personally, I think that wheel sucks. Now if the wheel had a neon through the entire wheel instead of the center, that would probably look cool. If I was street glow, I would have a neon through the wheel, and have the transformer in the center. The wheel would probably get a little warm, but with the neon in the middle and thick plastic about a half inch away from the neon tube, I wouldn't think it would be too hot to handle. You could always have a switch to turn it off in case it became too hot. Not only could it be a neon wheel, but also a winter hand warmer! Warm your hands with rice!!! Neons aren't rice though, unless their overdone IMO.

 

Yes, neons are rice. What's the point of them? Most of the time they draw attention to ****ty looking cars. I'm disgusted when I see almost any car with neon lights. Especially the lights in the interior of the car. Why not get one of those mirror ball things from a bar and shoot a light at it. They'd both do the same thing. Makes you looking your driving around a REALLY small dance club on wheels. GAY!
