Hey guys/girls, this weekend I'm probably gonna get a Wings West SS Spoiler for my 94 Z28. I know there have been people with fitment issues in the past, but from what I've heard the more recent ones that Wings West has produced have been a much better fit. I can get the spoiler for $295 shipped+tax, or $425 shipped+tax if I want it painted/clear coated. I was seriously considering having Wings West paint/clear coat the spoiler for me since they were only going to charge me $130 to do the job. However, that means that if the spoiler doesn't fit too well, I have to get it shaved down and then repainted again. So far I'm leaning towards having them paint it, since I'm usually not too picky about the fitment/gaps between panels on my car. I've done a search and found someone with a white Z28 that "test fit" the spoiler before he got it installed. The spoiler was primed at the time I believe. So if the guy with the white Z28 is still on the boards now, I wanted to know if the shop you got it painted at had to do any shaving down to make it fit better. Cause your finished product looks pretty nice.
