Need pics of fuel rail covers installed on LS1 please

Hey all,

Would love to have some pics of fuel rail covers installed on your LS1s! I made a mistake and ordered the 99 Vette covers for my 99 TA, instead of the 97 w/ the 2 fuel lines.

But I would love to see some pics of how everyone has them installed.

I have traction control, and that thing just gets in my way.

Then, there is this huge loom of wires on my pass. side, coming from the PCM that are in the way. Then, there is a loom of wires attatched w/ that plastic wire loom on top of the fuel rail that I need to rearrange to make the covers snap on.

And for the ones that have them, do I have to make the fuel lines longer on the driver side?? When I took the heat tape off, they were hard to manuever. And I don't know if they will slide through those places cut already for the fuel lines.

I have done searches on this site, and I just need some help
I seen the ones at checkered flag, ect. and I refuse to pay $200 for those! But looking at the pics, I can see how to cut them

Also, I noticed on some of those sites that sell them, the driver's side is cut in the rear quite a bit. Is that for the AIR/EGR stuff? I have already removed mine, and was just trying to save myself from cutting more off.

THANKS, and sorry so many questions!

Yes, the cutout on the back of the drivers side is for the AIR. If it's removed, you won't need to do anything there. If you got the covers with th single fuel line cutout, you will need to cut another hole the same for the vent line, or remove it completely. Ont he passenger side, you will need to notch for the throttle cable bracket. Run the cables over the top of the cover. You will also have to cut the rear of the passenger side to clear the cable loom at the back.
Here is a pic of my FRC's. They are custom CF covers, but fit the same way.

Thanks Brent!

Do you sell the decals? I would just need the lines and the 5.7 l part.

I wouldn't mind a set on mine when I put them on. But I don't want them to peel off either!

Let me know Brent!
