Actually, the real reason anyone SHOULD get a spoiler or wing is for downforce. However, not many do that. The only "real" spoiler I can think of off the top of my head that actually did something was the older Camaro Spoilers, the kind they use on Nascar's. People are more into looks than effectiveness. If people wanted effectiveness GM would make the stock SS hood operational.

 

If you wanna be 'different' get something ugly, if you want something cool get the SS spoiler.
