I remember a while back...someone cut out the rear letters and put neon lights so that they would light up when the brakes were applied. I wanted to know if anybody had those pics and or who it was?

I done it to my black camaro except the lights light up all the time. I just took the panel off this past weekend to redo the paint. I had some paint chips. It really wasn't hard to do. Took me about an hour to dremel out the letters sand, primer, paint, put plexi glass behind the panel and wire up the 4 neon tubes and put it on the car. I also dremeled out the bowtie under the right taillight. It looked pretty sweet when it was lit up at night, but during the day there wasn't anything nice to look at like my silver inserts.

That's really cool. Don't Trans Ams light up Trans Am letters or something when they hit the brakes? It's been awhile since I've been behind one at night.

That isn't a pic of my car. I've never taken pictures of the taillight panel but thats how it looks when its lit up. Its a pretty sweet mod.

I don't know if that is the same one Brent. It may be, one I saw was red. But the blue looks sweet. I just needed to see a pic to get the motivation to do it. I just picked up an extra panel for like $50. So I will start this right away.
