Hey, I'm ordering my ZO6 rims in 2 weeks, but I need to know about tires. I have a 1 inch drop in the front, 1 1/2 in the back. Will 18 x 9 1/2's fit? About tires, will 18/40/275 fit? If not, what will I need? Thanx and God Bless

 

i think you need 275/35/18, but im no expert

 

I have heard that 18's in front especially on a lowered car is a super snug fit. Definitely not more that 275.35.18. I personally would go 17's in front and 18's in back. But that's just me

 

Go 275/35/18 on your 18x9.5s.

 

Would any tires wider than 275's fit on the back?? (ie: 295's, 315's?? ). Also, does anyone have a picture of an F-body with Z06 rims on it?? I think I saw one once and liked it, but I'd like to see a couple more pics..................I'd like to get Z06 rims for my car one day.

I definitely like the looks of the Z06 rims, so I figure once my car is in need of new tires, I'll just go all out and buy new tires and rims at the same time, and I think I now know what I'm gonna get!

Again, does anyone know if 275's are the widest that could go on the back tires?? or would 315's fit?? THX.

 

I know people here have 315's in the back. I have seen pics, but I don't know if they will fit on a 10.5 wide rim. You may need to go with 11's. I have no idea though. But the tire chart at Tirerack.com would tell you.
