Need help installing new fender emblems.

Just bought 2 69 Camaro script Camaro emblems. The ones that have the studs to bolt through the fender. But the Year One book says you can shave off the studs and install with double sided tape. On my old 85 Camaro I used super glue (I beleive it was the gel kind) to install all the emblems. Has anybody used glue to install there fender emblems? I had no problem with it on my 85 Camaro, but just wanted to see if any body else has done this

On my 81 Z28 I had chrome 350 emblems on each side of the air induction scoop.. I used automotive GOOP from Advance and it worked great.. I've also used it on trim and on one of my plastic Z28 emblems on my 94... Still holding strong... Just make sure you tape it up and let it dry overnight.

i use rolls of industrial strength double stick 3m tape -

its paper thin and u stick emblem to it - then take x-acto knife and cut around - and peel off other side- leaves only the glue and will hold like hell too anything -
