Need help fixing a small rust spot on the floor pan under pass. seat.

Not sure if this was the right forum or not but here goes.

I autox my car. I can't use subframe connectors so I would like to keep the car as structurally sound as possible. Wich means no rust! Or stop it before it become much worse.

Ok the spot is about 2.5-3 inces around. It is not rusted through but is rusted enough to pit the metal and the rust is gone.

Any special techniques, paints, etc?

Help me out please.

Cool

POR-15

Marine Cleaner followed by

Metal Ready followed by

Paint

use their starter kit for small patch which can be had from anywhere from $9.95 to $14.95.

it's contains all you need. follow instructions and it will be fine. just did the trunk of my kid's 68 in sig and skipped the paint part since rust disappeared. am keeping an eye on it and might still paint it if I see additional corrosion starting up.
