anybody have any body work done, and body shop has trouble matching this paint right???? i'm just sick of waiting for this car

 

I had mine re-painted last weekend actually No trouble matching up the paint... if you're interested in the paint code/mix that was used for mine then hit me up with an e-mail and I'll get back with you tonight after work.

The paint matched up perfect... after the body work was done and prepped for the paint just covered the primer w/ 3 coats then blended in with the rest of the paint and went over w/ 2 good coats of clear. You can not tell at all where it was painted. I had the entire front clip and passenger side done. I have some pics I can send your way.

well i guess they got it to work today.....but it has to dry now....so i'll be waiting on it till monday....going freaking nuts waiting for this thing....driving a nasty mid 80's 4 cyl is not what i had in mind for a week and a half

 

How long did they tell you it would take to dry? I painted mine Sunday afternoon around 4pm.... had 3 coats applied / blended then 2 coats of clear like I mentioned earlier and it was cured with in 2 hours.... dry enough to touch w/ in 30 minutes. The hardner that you mix w/ the paint and clear will tack up in no time.

 

the only thing i can think of is they might have to reattach the hood still......i called them at around 1 in the afternoon.....and they had just matched the color finally.....
