Not sure where this goes but figured I'd post it in appearance

There was a car show over the weekend (April 15-17th) in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. My friends and I were walking along the strip and saw this crazy *** camaro with a Mystic paint job on it (changes from green to purple depending on how you look at it).

Plain on Mystic Teal. My old car had that paint, when its wet it looks nice.

 

Yea there was a guy a few years back that had a LT1 camaro painted that color

 

yeah looks like mystic teal to me, since i see it every day, my car is that same color, its great when its clean, it'll change color every chance its gets. When its dirty, you got urself a green camaro, ah well =)

 

haha..it was nice but I think it had to much done to it for my taste..was really changing colors at night..

 

I can't tell on this lame monitor I'm using at school right now, but if you can see purple at certain angles, then it isn't Mystic Teal. Mystic Teal only has dark bluish effects at the very most from what I know. It is most likely a Dupont Chromalusion paint color or perhaps even a Reflex paint.

 

That looks great, except that style of wheels doesn't compliment the car IMO.

 

yeah the wheels were spinners *ugh* and I think the paint was a Dupli-Color Mirage.. that green and purple.

lol looks like he kept the engine totally stock. Just chromed everything in true ricer-style.

There's a few Camaros around with mystic teal, albiet in the 93-97 body style. I really don't like the color IMO.

 

Hmm now that I am home and had a good look at it I can't tell if it is mystic teal or not. I only see purple in the headlight area, that is the only thing that points away from Mystic Teal.

 

Nah, it doesn't appear to be Mystic Teal to me either. The shade of green is a little too light and looks like there's a decent amount of flake in the base. Also the shade of purple you can see around the headlight area is way too extreme/bright to be Mystic Teal It appears as though he has a polished Weiand Intake Manifold so MAYBE the owner has some other go fast goodies on the car?


Odd looking car though... give him props for creativity and fabrication at least.
