My seats in my 97 SS dont have the 30th symbol. the only thing i can think of is that they are from a differant year. They are leather and the right style. did all 97's get the special seats??? or were mine most likely replaced?

 

Only if the original buyer chose the 30th Anniversary option. I have it in my six. But yeah, the Anniversary stuff is optional.

 

You got it. Some dealerships like to use it when advertising '97's, even on regular V6 cars! Dorks...

 

You can buy vinyl decals to make it look like a 30th

 

its just not the same, i feel left out. its alright tho, the exterior of my car makes me forget about the interior, i'm kinda glad i dont have them cause i like the decals brent makes "SS" right in the headrest. i'll prob order those. just wondering if what i heard was true about all 97s having them. i though i had non origional seats,

hmmm I heard all the leather seats in 97 had it but with the cloth it was optional.

Mine have worn so bad you can hardly even see them anymore. This is a common problem. Brent sells 30th stickers for the seats that go in the same spot. Im thinking about getting them.

All 97 Camaro's got the 30th anniversary logo imbossed in the seat back. The 30th anniversary special edition, commonly known as the white & orange ones, got the colored logo.

 

Back seat has no badge either. Guess i have some seats from a newer camaro. their in great shape with almost no wear. with 64k miles on it when i got it last year i guess he had them must have put them in just before i bought it. either way i love the leather, i was thinking about taking it to a local shop and having the centers changed to red. and the SS badge up top.

 

That's what I thought too.

My Z28 has leather and it has the "30th" logo in the headrest.

mine is just a regular old Z28 with cloth seats and it has the 30th in my seats......I was also under the impression that all 97 camaro's had it on the seats.

All '97s got the 30th logo on the seats in one form or another, so your seats should have them.

Special Editions got white leather seats with 30th logo embroidered in colors.

All other '97s with cloth seats got the 30th logo embroidered with the same seat color or the cloth accent color.

And all other '97s with leather seats got the 30th logo embossed into the leather with no colors.
