My project
My project
Just found out about this website recently.. really nice. Great website for help. Just thought id share my little project ive been working on for 2 years. Keep in mind im 18, started on this when i was late 15's. Did it for my school senior project.
List of mods
1995 Z-28 Camaro
K&N CAI
Flowmaster Exhaust- No catalytic converters (florida)
Fully built Monster Transmission- 1850 stall converter
Rebuilt Lt-1 (factory specs)
Automatic -Shift kit (Will buuuuurn rubber when it hits 2nd gear, ANYDAY)
She may be mostly stock but ive pulled ls1 and even some of the base model newer vettes. I embarass imports with this car. Ive never lost to any civic, sti, wrx, integra. Even boosted ones just cant hang with a 25mph roll 1st gear.
Most of the work done to the car is rebuilding the motor and paint and body work. I just recently sprayed the wheels black today for a test to see how it would look. Got told it looked like a cop car and mcdonalds lol.
Just a little story behind the damage. I bought the car when i was 15. Traded it for an 86 chevy on 40" mud tires with no motor. I got the camaro with 2 blown head gaskets, cracked and warped heads, leaking radiator, fan motors didnt work. Owner spun the car out 2 times and hit telephone poles on both sides. When the engine finally died on him, he shot the rear quarter panel with a .22 rifle. Yes, the bullet hole in the picture is real lol.
Heres a Video of my senior project. Has more pictures and a neat little burnout where i broke my transmission mount

I am very proud of the work i have done. If you guys are true fbody fans, u wont look at detail but the hours spent working on this car. Ive brought another fbody back to life! this is the 3rd fbody in our family that we have brought back to life.

Re: My project
We have 4 f-bodies total in our yard.
Black (3rd GEN)

Is my brothers 87 transam with a 350 SBC. 700r4 transmission. Nothing wrong with it. Runs great and has one hell of a cam. Ill post a vid of it soon so you guys can hear it.
Black (4th GEN)

Is my other brothers. Its a 93 Formula Firebird. He blew the engine up racing an srt8 charger. It was an automatic 4 speed and he was manually shifting, didnt realize he was already in Overdrive and with his foot to the floor pushed it into neutral. Spun a bearing, threw a rod, and broke the oil pickup off and that lt1 was finished. He just recently bought a 95 formula firebird and we are pulling the engine out of it. The red one u can see in the background of the picks above or below.

The red one will be used for parts for both my camaro and my brothers 4th gen. Then sadly it will be junked.
Heres some pics of all 3.

As you can see here, i got the rims off my brothers firebird after he blew up his engine. Then sadly, he sold them cuz he needed money 295/35/18 rear 275/45/17 front. Wiiide *** tires. This baby looked mean from behind.
