I couple weeks ago I went to the dealership to but some touch up paint. Thay wanted my VIN so I gave it to them. They said the car came up as Silver, and not Hugger Orange. I'm not sure if I should be worried or not. The engine bay is orange too. I don't think anyone would go through the trouble to paint everything and pass it off as a hugger. What do you guys think?

 

Look for the paint code thats either in your door opening or where mine is: the glove box or wherever and compare it. That'll tell u everything right there.

 

Yes, check the paint code on the car because even though dealers are using vin's for parts and such they are not fool proof. I work in an autobody repair shop and we get a lot of wrong parts even though they order by the vehicles vin.

 

when i get my car repainted, they are doing everything, even the interior and engine bay. its whats called a good paint job. i plan on yellow with black 30th stripes
