Cool

Man, if I could I'd help everyone! Heading to Norwalk friday April the 11th from 6 to 11PM, I hope to see some of you locals out there.

Tires make a big difference in ride quality and handling characteristics. I don't know what it is, but I have to have the best in tires and prefer Michelin Pilot Sports over BFG G-Force and over Goodyear F1s, I've had a set of each on my cars and have to say I like to Michelins by far. Next will be some drag radials for the track

So far I have a fun filled Spring, how 'bout you guys?

Holy cow that's an awesome deal for those rims. My question is, did you have you modify the rear wheels at all so they fit over the hub? I've heard that people have to grid a little bit of the rim so they fit over the hub. Thanks.

No, they fit right on with no problems, Got them off eBay, but now they have raised the price to $949.00

Good deal I think.

Paul....I think you are stealing my post Man.....

I think he was referring to the wheels that I have....And yes I did have to grind away a small amount of material on the rear wheels around the hub. I used a dremel and slowly removed a little at a time until it was a snug fit.

I like. Don't know why, but before your car, I had yet to see an F-body with those rims. And why not, we take all the OTHER 'Vette rims <cough>me to</cough>

YES! I work tomorrow CamaroSHO, by the way I'll be taking the Z to work tomorrow, hope to see you there!

Just finished up my header installation! Long tubes rock!

Oh our hours Saturday are 8-3pm and we're next to the woodville mall, but don't get us mixed up with Tom's Tire which is behind the mall.

Paul, since you work at Tire Man, I would really like to know if you guys have the equipment to do an alignment on smooth lipped wheels. The ones where there is no lip on the edge of the rim and the tire itself. I have not been able to find anywhere in town that can do this. If you guys can do it, I'll be up there at the drop of a hat.

You're in luck. If you look at my profile, you're find that I'm an alignment tech @ Tireman. I can do those wheels...infact I do them all the time. Even on my 18's on my Z.

Just come in on Monday in the morning if possible and you'll get right in.

I have a $35,000.00 machine....yea we have the equipment. When do you plan on coming in? I work @ the Woodville location by the Mall, but don't get us mixed up with Tom's Tire behind the mall....

peace.

Man, I missed your post over the weekend (very busy). I would probably be able to make it out there for an extended lunch hour, but as soon as I have any free-time, I'm coming out there. Do you happen to work on Saturday?
