my new emblems
I thought about that, but to me, they really balance out the emblems I added. Without the little GM chicklet there, I think my emblems would just look like they were floating in space.
The design was such a pain. Some of those lines the laser etched are about as wide as a human hair. I'm so happy to finally have them done and on the car.

The design is nice..not sure if pink would be my first color choice however.
What about putting them on the door centered in front of the "GXP" emblem? The fender with the vent and GM tab already have enough going on. But I think I see your thinking since your emblem kinda follows the shape if you were to follow the slant of the vent down to the GM tab.

Well, first and foremost, my placement there was to prevent someone from opening their door in a parking lot and hitting one of my emblems potentially damaging it. The magenta is because that's my business' color.
If I put them in front of the GXP emblems, they'd get eaten by the fender when opening the doors all the way.
The bodyside molding on Grand Prix doors pretty much ruins any really great placement ideas.
The Grand Prix is such a fluid car (even though the GXP bumpers and such get rid of some of that fluid-look) that I pretty much chose the only reasonable place to put them.
The rear of the car doesn't have a flat area big enough to stick them, they'd look awkward, and they would likely be overlooked as dealership branding emblems.

I considered putting them on the gas tank door and on the opposite side, but I felt that was drawing attention to an area that made no sense.
