My Finished 3rd Gen

I have been working on this car for about 6 months now (since christmas) and its just gotten finished and even though this really a 4th gen website I thought I'd share. Any opinions are cool. Its a 1986 Z28, with 60,000 miles, the paint is red tint 3 coat or magnetic red found on corvettes and I cut in the GFX with a dark charcoal metallic, interior is an all new swap from gray to black/charcoal. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/756169/1

Nice looking. Now put some IROC tailights on it and lower it.

I agree on lowering. Also, some cool after market seats. And paint the GFX same color as car.

Excellent bodywork.
I see you lost the door handles, and radio antenna. I really wanted to cut in some flush-mount door handles in my doors but chickened out. Maybe next year!

What about the third brke light? Have you thought about relocating it into the spoiler?

Oh, and the GFX look like a nice match with those wheels.

You've done some nice work there.

That thing had some serious time invested.
Good for you.

Re: My Finished 3rd Gen

Very nice.

The only minor change is that I think the GFX would look better if they were the same color as the car. It doesn't look bad this way, though.

Re: My Finished 3rd Gen

Looks great, I just hope my third gen resto turns out that good. When cleaned up, they really are pretty cars. The 91-92 convertible Z's are my favorite convertible cars period. Ive done a couple things so far, fourth gen trans am chrome wheels, fourth gen trans am seats, repaint, 91-92 aerowing, etc. Good luck. BTW nice choice of wheels.

Re: My Finished 3rd Gen

I think you did a fine job with the car. Something you should be proud of. The color scheme looks fine to me. So how does she run?
