My fiberglass dash pics

Its almost ready for paint im probably gonna add a xbox 360 then im done with it.

Nice looks just likt the one I did when I worte the write up on it except I tinted my primer black and layed down a silver base coat then a metallic blue mid coat and then 6 coats of clear before color sanding and buffing. Good work.

How did you make that dash... did you mold it to your orginal dash or custom make it?

i took 40grit sand paper and tore the vinal all to hell then sliced it in spots so the fiberglass could soak into the foam under the vinal some people just remove the vinal but you dont haft to then i used a paintbrush and made the first layer then the second and third layer i added fiberglassmat then another layer of fiberglass then i mixed half bondo and half resin then put in on with a paint brush and added a little bondo to fill in some spots then sand with 180 then 300 then i primed it

goodluck with the glare off that thing once its all painted/cleared and waxed

looks pretty good though so far
