My Custom Interior what do you think?
That looks really good. i though about smoothing my interior pecies and painting them a gloss black.
where did you get the thread for the boot to match the color.
if you could get a needle for doing stiches like the curved one it might not be to bad doing the shifter **** and brake with them still on.
off topic but if that is you in those other pics what do you think of the Vision 5500 pads. im thinkin about going with them.

I actually have the Vaughn Velocity 7000 pads, '01 model (not the visions) and I wouldn't trade 'em for anything. In some of those pics I'm wearing some old Eddy 5000's (which look like visions). Since getting my Vaughns I have no complaints. Just make sure you try on whichever pad at a shop with your skates and pants to make sure they are comfortable and will work properly with the rest of your gear.
Remember, ordering goalie gear from Canada can save quite a few $$

It looks like it belongs on the outside of the car. I even gave it a coat of zaino before I put them inside the car
.There are many people who have had success doing it themselves. Do a search and you'll find everything and anything about how to do it yourself (prep work, materials, etc...).
Thanks again everyone for the kind words
About the shifter boot... did you just use regular embrodery thread?
I tried on a test piece of black leather using bright red thread.. but after when I tested cleaning it with the Zaino leather cleaner.. it "stained" the threads I guess.. and now they are dark red.
That has kind of been holding me back on doing this. Any suggestions?
People have there leather seats embroydered... there must be a way of cleaning the leather without staining the threads, right?

As far as I know, I used regular embroidery thread. The only thing that it says is that it's 100% cotton and made in Germany. I'm not sure about zaino staining the thread though. My only suggestion is to try to avoid wiping the cleaner directly on the thread. Maybe, try to find a thread that isn't cotton and won't soak up liquid. I know there's Polyester, Rayon, and Nylon thread types. Check w/ a local fabric store as they could probably help you further.

here you go (taken before painting upper console trim)
