It doesn't work for me, I go as far as to circle stuff in magazines or even order the stuff off of my own credit card and tell her to reimburse me. She still doesn't take the hint and buys me crap I dont need.

Thats too bad...my GF normally does a pretty good job when it comes to my car. Although she can't keep secrets until my BDay, she does pick good things out. But I get to tell her if I like it or not...and normally she shows me quality things or great buys...
