MTEC 4350k headlight bulbs

So I ordered some Showoff Krypton 4300k bulbs for my buddy, and the company wants to send me MTEC 4350k bulbs instead, because Showoff supposedly went out of business

NORMALLY I wouldn't even consider it, but since the ****ing paypal already went thru... I am thinking about it.

MTEC competes with PIAA overseas... has anyone ever used MTEC bulbs ?

Thanks

I don't ever remember Showoff's being REAL expensive - so why not give them a shot (saying the MTEC's probably ain't costing you an arm and a leg).

I can't believe you of all people didn't know about Showoff - I was looking around for them a while back and learned that they were no more. Maybe some places still have old stock - but who knows where.

I would try the MTEC's though - you never know - I tried Eurolite's once ( ).

I took a chance on Eurodezigns bulbs once...

BIG mistake

now the salesman doesnt know if these are 80w=125, 100w=135w or if they are 4350k or 4500k

Thats what he was aiming for...they wanted to replace his original order of Showoffs with MTEC.

How much were they? You can just try them out, take some pics and report back to us.

$40 for bulbs! Actually, I shouldn't talk...I tried Silverstars

Yea I didn't know about them, because I don't use 9006 bulbs no more

True - I was actually checking to see if they had any H7's. Then I was also checking another time for some 9006/5's for my buddy wanting the cheap way out - and couldn't find them - that's when I learned they had died.

Re: MTEC 4350k headlight bulbs

Update: The MTEC's are a solid bulb to replace the Showoff Krypton 80w 4300k.

However, for anyone that has a upgraded harness, I still recommend going with a true 100w such as FX.
