msd
I'm not sure, but I've seen people put their MSD boxes right above their fuse box. They move up their fuel lines slightly and thats where they stick it. I'm getting a 6AL box installed this week and my mechanic says it can go on the firewall...so we'll what happens. I don't know about more wiring, but majority seem to have it above the fuse box

I couldn't find anywhere to mount mine under the hood, until I bought a nonfunctional ram air hood. I mounted an msd box, ignition retard, and window switch where the ram air box should be. I guess you could say that I made my hood functional

alright so behind the fuse box is the perfect place... now only if i can get rid of that old alarm system. when i bought the car it had an alarm system in it. i never got the clicker for it, so how do i get rid of the alarm?
Just start pulling out everything that is connected to the horn.........you'll eventually get it all.
After I put in my homemade CAI, I mounted mine up high on the wall facing the intake piping.

Alright, after a whole week of pain and suffering for me, I finally got my car back with the box on. Its an MSD 6AL. They just moved the fuel lines over a little and installed it right above the fuse box. To see pictures, click here and here.
